Today is the 5th day of this challenge and I’m still sugar free! AGH! I EVEN resisted the urge to pop that little weigh watchers coconut chocolate in my mouth (that i KNEW was hiding in my coat pocket from weeks ago)! EVEN when I was all stressy and upset after a battling day with Justin. I went to my coat, felt it in there and said, “NO” and walked away! WOW! I think I deserve something for that don’t you?!?!!? ME TOO, so I downloaded a copy of the new Spring issue of DMM!

Thank you SO much for stopping by to see my Day 4! I appreciate all the warm comments I’ve recieved these past days! I look forward to checking out the groups AJs later today!
I’m proud to report that Day 4 is going very well! Is it bad that I’m surprised by how well I am holding to my No Sugar goal?! I’m SO quick to give up on things because they are “too hard”. My husband thinks I need bootcamp! YIKES!

Wow, yesterday was interesting as I realized I needed to narrow in on what I really want to focus on during this journey. I decided to work on breaking the sugar habit. BUT, this challenge also lead me to meet Amy who is helping me add an exercise program to my day too, which helped her lose the baby pounds! I have been sporatic about hitting the gym & setting aside for this, so her help is appreciated! So strange how all our lives weave into one another’s! Thank you again Rhonna…this has already affected me for the better! xoxo
Supplies: Green Quote: Rhonna Farrer, I created the stamps using her quote too, inked overlay: Nancie Rowe Jantiz, Fonts: Priory, Ariel Rounded.

(edit)
Okay, so as I was reading Lilli’s entry, it occured to me that I was being too vague with my goal, so I’m tweaking it…to either kicking the sugar habit (stolen from Lilli’s previous {21} day challenge) or following through (on going to the gym, on writing down my ‘points’, etc.) Hmmm…which to pick?!

Just Lose it! Rhonna Farrer’s {21} Day Challenge
Thank you to Rhonna for doing this challenge again!
The title of my journal came from seeing Annie Hafermann’s AJ title which is, Just Use it!
I have complained & complained about losing the rest of the “baby weight” from having both the baby & the twins, so I figured this might be the kick in the pants to keep me following through on my goals!

This is an lo of my DD, Jessica, last Spring when she was only 4 months old. Don’t you just want to eat those cheeks?!
I was playing around with a new kit by Alisha Hess that’s going to be released April 1st at digitalscrapbookpages.com. It’s called Spring Fling! LOVE IT!
Any creative critisism is welcome!

As you may know, I’m hosting a charity crop to support the CCFA (Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America). For more info on the crop or for Josh’s story head to the Crop website.
In support of Josh and the Crop, my friend (and amazing digi designer) Alisha Hess, is offering a special on her blog. Make a donation of $5 or more to the CCFA and she will send you a coupon to get her Sweet Summer Delight kit free from Digitalscrapbookpages. Just make the donation and send a copy of your receipt to Alisha at sweetsimpledesigns dot com! How amazing is she to help out?!
THANK YOU ALISHA! And thank you to all who help support this amazing cause!

I jumped from this blog to the one i keep at Scrapbook.com, but decided I should probably maintain this one as well. So much to share, so little time….
If you watch a lot of children’s tv like i do, you might be familiar with Jack’s Big Music Show… (if not, you’re missing out!) Anyway, one of the songs that is always stuck in my head is about how Mel (the dog) lost his doggy groove and how he needs to get it back… “Every animal has it’s groove..the way the walk the way they move…” (”What’s the point Lauren?!”) Well, the other day it struck me that {{I}} had lost my scrappy groove! I though all the creativity had fallen out of my body, but luckily I discovered, thanks to my friend Ann Marie, that it was just because I had been sick. I think she’s right because the better I am feeling, the more creativity I find coming back! Phew!
Off to gymnastics, promise to be back later to get this place rolling again!
If you have time be sure to hit EsteeLynn’s blog (in my link section)….I can GUARENTEE you will leave her place smiling!
xoxo
