Kelly here The weekend is finally under way, and I could not be more excited because Sunday is one of my special days…my anniversary, seven years of love and goodness here! And with the weekend comes another edition of YOU Rock! Browsing the galleries is always so amazing. The talent in our community is just crazy. Earlier this month, I came upon this gem in the MSA gallery and just knew it deserved the spotlight:

Anacal made this layout in tribute of her mother’s birthday, and though I can’t read the journaling it says in her description that the journaling is about all the things she misses of her mom since they live so far away from each other. Using Lauren’s Hot Momma to Be kit and Hoopdee Alpha, Anacal has made a layout that is both gorgeous and sentimental. I love the blocked design and the combination of black and white and color photos. Her use of so many different colors and patterns just delights me. And I just love layouts that tell a story through photos like this one does. You can check out Anacal’s layout here
