With no access to my design stuff or scrap stuff for the past 3 hours, my mind has begun to wander…..
And you know what popped into this little head? A little CHALLENGE!!!!
My CT and I have been discussing card ideas a lot this week, to give as teacher gifts as well as one’s to send out to friends and family for the Holidays. Then I saw Barb’s Christmas card, that was inspired by a LAYOUT!!! That sparked this little challenge!!!!

Stephanie here.. Bringing you this week’s hot product feature. I am a stitching fool, as I think most of you are, and I cannot seem to finish a layout without having at least ONE stitch on the thing. I think it’s an addiction for me!! Ha Ha!! So.. Lauren has once again added to the addiction with these sparkly new Glitter Stitchies. How cool are these….AND they come in His or Hers…
His…

Hers…

Now is your time to add these to your holiday shopping list.. or scratch the list and go grab them NOW at Lauren’s Oscraps Store.
Have a great rest of the week everyone!

Keely here giving you a little kick to start off your week. I am still recovering from our recent holiday and all the craziness that seems to ensue at this time of year. I thought it would be a good day to share a street photography site that I really like NonPhotography.com. It strikes me as a great “Monday” kind of place to visit. The images are powerful and not all of them fall into the perfectly photographed category. For those of us that struggle with getting the shot, that’s a comforting thought. Regardless, I think there’s some inspiration for everyone. Here’s a link to the gallery, I hope you enjoy.

Happy Saturday, everyone! I’m sitting here still stuffed with turkey and stuffing (got to love left overs!) ready to bring you this week’s edition of You Rock. I found this gorgeous layout by fernandabalieiro at MSA just a bit ago, and I absolutely love how she has used Lauren’s Nelly kit.

Sweet photo and I love how she cut the bold patterned papers and layered them up under the photo. The black background and the glitter border make the layout just pop with color. Love that!
I’m off to enjoy a weekend of scrapping and sales, and hope you all do the same! Don’t forget to check out the latest Humpday Scraplift challenge posted this past Wednesday. We are lifting a layout by Traci Reed this week, and the winner will win a GC to Lauren’s Oscraps store!

Hi everyone,
Thought I’d start this bright and sunny Monday morning (hahaha - I live in Portland, OR - we won’t see sun for another 6 months or so) with a handy little tool for your desktop.
Although Photoshop and Photoshop elements have their own color picker tools, at times I find I need a color picker when I am not in PSE. Eclipse Palette is a great little (FREE!) program which allows you to pick colors whenever and wherever you need to. And did I mention that it’s free???!
The program is available from Green Eclipse and only available for Windows at this stage (sorry Mac users).
Have a great Monday - hope yours is sunny.

Happy Friday!
This is Cathy bringing you another rockin’ layout created by you, the customers!
This week I chose “Altered Me” by mrocas, which I found in the Oscraps gallery. I love the circle design, the vintage photo, the wings, the titlework and the overall 3-D effect of this layout! I just love how mrocas used Lauren’s Create Wings elements and papers !!! This page is a great example of how a great design doesn’t always need journaling.

You can leave some love for mrocas at Oscraps.
Until next time, happy scrapping!
Hi everyone.. Stephanie here bringing you some Hot News about a new product Lauren has in her store. And that’s exactly what it is.. Hot News! alpha packs. I love this alpha as it is a great all around go-to for any layout. It is a great newspaper based alpha sold in yummy raspberry color and two versions of black and white. AND…the great thing is that you get two versions of the alpha with each set- one with a doodled edge and one without. Also, the word on the street is there may be a masculine colored version coming soon so be on the lookout.

Here’s some amazing layouts created by Lauren’s team using this great new alpha…

Have a great day gals..

Happy Monday! Did you know that there are some new team members in our midst? It’s true, our little family grew over the weekend. We’re really excited about the additions and hope you’ll congratulate the girls if you see them around. Did you hear that shouting from the rooftops?
And now for the mojo… I am a quote lover, always have been. I collect them on pieces of paper, in word art and I have an insanely full e-mail folder full as well. I find that when inspirations leaves the building sometimes a few good words can really get the juices flowing. One of my favorite and easiest sources is Real Simple Daily Thoughts. I’m sure some of you are familiar with the magazine, it’s a great source of inspiration in itself. On their website they have a listing of all their daily thoughts, you can also subscribe to receive them by e-mail or as blog feeds. Real Simple Daily Thoughts
I also wanted to share something fun that I stumbled upon. Flickr Color Selectr This nifty site lets you pick a color, either by slider or RGB, and it will find flickr pictures with that color. Pretty fun stuff, there are some amazing pictures and it can make you rethink the way colors are represented, both in real life settings and in one’s creative expression. I hope someone has as much fun with it as we have. My kids like this one a lot.
That’s it from me. Have a wonderful day, smile. Until next time…..Keely
Happy Friday goes out to everyone in Digi-World!! I think I have spent more time lately browsing the galleries soaking up inspiration than I have scrapping. I recently found this wonderful layout by Mdecrow using Lauren’s Create Wings kit. Those little wings on that precious daughter of hers are just adorable. A perfect layout for this week’s You Rock!!

Mdecrow’s On Fairy Wings layout can be seen here…
Until next week…
