Howdy folks. It’s another Monday, and although I’m trying to pretend I feel great, I don’t, actually quite the opposite. So forgive me but I’ll be making today’s post short and sweet. I recently heard about a new project going on between The Library of Congress and Flickr. It’s a wonderful opportunity to look at some amazing historical photos. Library of Congress Pool If you’d like to have a little more back story on the project check out The Library of Congress blog The Library of Congress Blog . I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.

Cathy here, bringing you another gorgeous layout created by YOU!
So let’s get to it….
I love this layout by duniascrap

The stamped title, the soft colors and the three photos make this a fabulous layout in my book! I also love how the monochromatic color scheme makes the cute photos pop.
You Rock, Duniascrap!!!
Our Team is ready to spread some more sunshine and this time to a very strong mother and a courageous little girl. We have followed the journey of a fellow digiscrapper NevadaJen and her daughter Victoria.

The above layout is one of Jen’s wonderful layouts of her daughter. Layout can be seen here.
In December little Victoria suffered a massive brain bleed and then continued to have surgery. We definitely thought Jen could use a little sunshine after some very long days.
Our team has been busy lifting Jen’s awesome gallery and here’s what we came up with…
Erica’s lift of Jen’s My Girl layout

Kelly’s lift of Jen’s I love You layout

Nicole’s Lift of Jen’s Let it Snow layout

Karen’s lift of Jen’s All Boy Layout

Cathy’s lift of Jen’s My Girl layout

Kellie’s lift of Jen’s Wonderful Life layout

Stephanie’s lift of Jen’s Ice Cream layout

We want to send out huge hugs to Jen and her daughter and a big thank you for the inspiration!
You can read more about Victoria on her Caring Bridge site.

I have a passion for colour. Unfortunately I haven’t had the time or inclination to transfer this passion to my home (boring grey/green walls anyone?) so I have had to make do with the bright colours in my scrapbook pages and photographs.
I am always drawn by splashes of colour in real life. Take my Project 365 Photo from yesterday for example.

To help feed my colour addiction, I am always on the lookout for fun websites to find colour inspiration. I came across this one recently. It’s called Colour Lovers (yes, with Aussie spelling!) and provides a ton of colour inspiration in one little website. Check out the colour palettes page for a random palette generator or check out the blog for the colour photo of the day. There’s even some information about the latest color trends in web and magazine design.
So stop by and take a look if you need a little extra colour in your life.
And come back tomorrow for a very special blog post.

Hello everyone. Since the boss lady is hauling her sweet family across country, I decided to take advantage…you know what they say…”When the cat’s away….” I have been lucky enough to be a part of Lauren’s team for quite a while now, I love her designs and each time she releases a new scrap goodie I feel like I’ve hit the lotto. That being said…I recently realized that two of my all time favorite Lauren kits are on clearance at Oscraps right now for $1.00!! These two mini kits are fun, funky and versatile, I go back to them over and over again. At this time of year when there seems to be so much winter, holiday and kissy kits, these oldies but goodies are refreshing. Get ready to bargain shop!
And a few Bring It layouts for your perusal.

Hi everyone, Erica (pne123) here to announce the winner of our last hump day lift. Thanks to everyone for participating! Our winner is sabdesbois and her Smiling on the Beach layout.

As a mom of a three-year-old daughter who LOVES books, I am always inspired when we head to the local library or bookstore to pick up some new reads for storytime. Sofi (and I) are drawn to books that have whimsical and colorful designs with bold graphics and text. Sofi is also a fan of interactive books that flip up or light up or have texture.
One of our favorite illustrator’s is Hiroe Nakata. I love the soft colors and playful scenes! Click here for even more examples of her art.

Another favorite is Sandra Boynton. I used to collect her stickers when I was just a girl! We have dozens of her hilarious board books….here are some of my favorites:

So the next time you find yourself mojo-less, head to the children’s section of your library or better yet, your child’s bookshelf, for some colorful inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by!

Just want to quickly share these little snippets of inspiration that came my way while I was working on my real job this week. While graphic design is not my actual job it does fall on me every now and again to pull together powerpoint slides, short video presentations etc.
To get the Mojo flowing I usually start with a really rough idea and then do a Google image search to find some random images. Here are some cool images I found this week that inspired me - hope they do the same for you.

Happy New Year everyone!
Lauren has started the New Year with a bang! Lots of fun new products hit the Oscraps store on January 1st! Our CT has been having a ball with all these fabulous new items. The BEST thing about them is they ALL work together SO well.
I am a huge fan of Lauren’s alphas and her new Ruled Alpha has already made an appearance on 5 of the last 7 layouts. The possibilities are endless, as the alpha comes in 7 awesome colors and are very easy to adjust the colors to your liking!

And check out what the CT has done with this fabulous Alpha!!!
