Happy Monday! It’s Keely coming at you today. In honor of my new camera I thought today’s post should be photography related. (I’m so excited to be joining the realm of DSLR owners!)

The other day I read an article about photographing food and was famished afterwards. I’m not a fan of cooking but I do love to eat and take pictures. My husband and kids enjoy playing chef and I like to bake when it’s on my own terms. My attempts at food photos have always been big fat failures. Though I don’t have any, I love seeing recipe layouts and recipe cards with actual photos. I even enjoy cookbooks though most of the time I have zero intention of ever making a dish. Happy Friday, everyone! Just wanted to pop in before the weekend to show off a gorgeous layout I found in the galleries. I simply love this layout by SteinyGirl that I saw at DST. Have a look-see:

that little face just makes me smile! And I absolutely love how SteinyGirl used Lauren’s Tenacious kit. Nothing better to me than taking what is obviously a boyish kit and making a girl page from it! You Rock, SteinyGirl!!!

I don’t know about you all, but I am soooo ready for spring. In reality-here in Minnesota they are calling for snow this week….will it ever stop!!!  But I can tell that spring is on the way with all the spring designs poppin’ up in all the digi stores including Lauren’s new Egg Washed Papers!

These papers not only scream… EGG DECORATING.. but I see them being used for many different things. I love the colors and the great folds to them!!

I’ve had so much fun browsing around galleries this afternoon and I just fell in love with Colleenstearns’ Somebirdy Loves You layout.  The colors just make me happy, her design is awesome, the bracket really compliments the title perfectly…but my favorite part is that sweet grin!  I just want to pinch those adorable cheeks!!!  I had to add this layout to my favorites file to scraplift it in the future! (the picture is linked…feel free to leave her some love!)

Today’s post truly is a Mojo Kickstart. I recently came across this very cool site called Artistic Inspiration - a site dedicated to kickstarting your creativity. Perfect right?

Artisitic Inspiration is a random word generator. Here’s the explanation from the site itself:

This generator is useful for artists who are looking for inspiration. The ideas are randomly generated from a database of words. You may choose between different types of words, flag inappropriate or miscategorized words, and add ideas of your own. Hey there !!! It’ friday again, the weekend is just around the corner, hooray !!! But for now, it’s time for another You rock LO !!! It’s my first time posting on the blog, and i must admit i had a lot of fun browsing the galleries to see the great things you did with Lauren’s product!
I chose to highlight Keela’s “In your eyes” LO.

I love the white space, the colors of the LO and her use of the Big Ol’ Brackets to frame her gorgeous photo, and how the blue of the brackets are enhancing the blue of this gorgeous baby’s eye !!! …. Keela, you rocked it !!!
