Hello again! It’s Keely blogging this Monday afternoon. Today in the USA we’re celebrating Memorial Day, honoring the men and women that have sacrificed in service to our country. My own family, both by blood and marriage, has a long history of military service. In the last several years I’ve waited and worried for news of loved ones serving in the Middle East. No matter where you’re from in the world, no matter your political or religious beliefs, I think we can all empathize with the people that have suffered losses, with those families that are separated. I like a holiday that revolves around appreciation and thankfulness. Today it’s what I’m inspired by. I think there should be much more of it in the world.

Dixi (aka 2bg) created a layout that we all just fell in love with when we saw it in the galleries!  We all agreed that we wanted to try our hand at scraplifting it…it was so inspiring!  Dixi’s gallery always leaves me with my jaw on the floor.  She has such an artistic eye…you really should go and check it out!

Hi there Alice here, to talk to you about Lauren’s last kit she made specially for Earth day : Tree Hugger. One of the team member had the great idea to ask her for a kit with this theme and Lauren came up with this GORGEOUS kit. I tell you in France we don’t really celebrate Earth day, like you do in US and i have a lot of plans for using this kit (outdoors photos, heritage photos, chic style LOs, …). So not only will you use this kit for your Earth day photos but you will use it over and over again. It’s so versatile, and that’s why i think this kit is a MUST HAVE in your digital scrapbooking folders.

So first the previews :

What i like most about this kit is that the Papers have riched textures and colors, the elements pack is full of gorgeous goodies that will enhance perfectly your photos. And the name … i think this soo cute !!! Makes me think that i actually have a photo of me “hugging” a tree (in Muir Woods) i took two years ago when we went for a trip to US with my little brother (one more photo to scrap with this kit !).
